Somayoga
SomaYoga classes begin with somatic movements (which are slow and focused) to create awareness. The class builds to a yoga practice linked to those movements. This process increases ease and capacity in your yoga practice.
Hatha yoga
Hatha Yoga classes explore many yoga postures sequenced in a way that feels rhythmic and intuitive. These classes will incorporate somatic movement as needed to explore the intricacies of yoga movements.
gentle yoga for every body
This class is designed for everyone to enjoy, regardless of capacity. Expect to use a lot of props (blocks, straps, chairs) to support your practice. Gentle Yoga for Every Body is a great class for everyone, but also if you are returning to movement after an injury, surgery, illness, or long period of inactivity.
beginning yoga
This four-week immersion will share the basics of yoga practice with students, including foundational poses and movements, and breath work. The goal is to provide students with a healthy basis for a lifetime of yoga practice.
therapeutic yoga for chronic pain: A Masterclass in self-care
This six week course has limited enrollment to assure that each individual student gets the support they need. The goal of the course is to offer students individualized sets of practices to support their ongoing self-care. Each week, new practices are introduced, students are instructed to try the practices at home, and the previous week’s practices are reassessed for each student. Over the six weeks, students develop a practice for their own self-care.
